Sonoran Snowmaggedon Twenty-Nineteen

The new year of 2019 started out with TWO DAYS in a row of snow…not unusual if you live in 80% of America, but VERY unusual if you live in the Sonoran Desert. We usually get snow a couple of times a year that stays on the ground here in Tucson, but I don’t ever remember having it snow so heavy two days in a row. On January 2nd, it continued to snow at our home property until around 11am–AND–our snow did not even melt until January 3. Again, don’t remember this ever happening before this year. I took a voracious number of pictures and videos during our snowmaggedon, but will only share a portion of them here. Some of my best selling images are snow-covered cacti or desert vistas, and this will give you an idea of why.
